João has obtained a BSc degree in Biochemistry from the University of Aveiro and a MSc degree in Biochemistry with Specialization in Biomolecular Methods from the same institution. After concluding his MSc, he worked with Dr. Nuno Candeias in the context of a grant focused on Organic Synthesis. João is currently a PhD student in Sustainable Chemistry and is conducting his research at the MolSyn and NatPro research groups.
