Welcome to my page!
I hold a PhD degree in computer science from universities of Porto, Minho and Aveiro (joint). During the PhD, I have worked on data compression models and their usage on analysis of multi-omics sequences. I’ve also developed a number of computational tools for the purpose of compression, encryption and analysis of genomic and proteomic data.
My current interest is the fascinating field of data science and more specifically, machine learning.
