Brief bio: I am Diana Pereira, and I am 23 years old. I am licensed in Biomedical Engineering from UTAD, where I learned several fundamentals of engineering such as programming, mathematical analysis and electrotechnics, and teachings in different areas of biology. My interests have always been linked to biology more specifically in the study of microorganisms, given these interests I am currently concluding Master’s in Applied Biochemistry on University of Minho with a dissertation entitled “Food preservatives based on bioactive compounds” in collaboration with FFUP / REQUIMTE.
