Renato B. Pereira was awarded his PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences – Phytochemistry and Pharmacognosy Speciality (2019) from the University of Porto, Faculty of Pharmacy (UPFP). His research interests focus natural products chemistry and the assessment of their biological properties, with special emphasis in anti-inflammatory activity. His research career has resulted in 13 papers, 8 as first author, 1 book chapter and participation in 5 national and international research projects. He is currently a post-doc at the REQUIMTE Associated laboratory/University of Porto, Faculty of Pharmacy.
